This game sucks ass at night, I had a lee enfield with 3 clips and 8 Makarov magazines and lots of food and I was meeting up with a friend who just got the game when some ass spawned in front of me and shot me in the face without warning when I was 150 meters away from said friend

the first time i made it into a server i was walking along the highway tree line headed up the hill a ways so i could keep an eye on the town up ahead. i move up to a cluster of rocks because i see a player name on the outskirts of the small town. i make my way in between the 3 rocks to not only hide myself but to use as cover should shit happen and as i step in between the 3 rocks i proceed to get bounced around like a fucking pinball between the 3 rocks in a rapid fashion and i can't get out...as i bounce around all i hear are all of my bones breaking and my screen flashing and shit and then i died from blood loss all within the span of about 4 seconds.

i also broke my legs the 3rd time i played when i made it to the top of a hill and tried to climb up this lil deer hunting stand to see if maybe there are some goodies in it. i learned at this point that there is a bug where if you climb a ladder with your pistol out you fall off the ladder when you reach the top...so...broken bones and blood again :/

it's an alpha, so i understand, but the 80 loading screens and ridiculous amount of time it takes for the character server to get it's ass moving is killing me more than anything. i've died 4 times so far, twice to bugs, once when i was prone letting a zombie pass me in a town only to have him walk right on top of me so i had to shoot him which of course called forth the rest of the town and finally my 2nd play through i was creeping around a construction site and a guy came creeping into the site behind me following me...i didn't like that, it seemed too suspicious to me. so i emptied my clip on him center mass all of 8 feet away, he just looks at me and shoots me twice and i die and as i lay there dying i see blood pouring out of his chest and he falls over...fucker shoulda died from the pistol clip to his vital organs and he shouldn't have been able to just sit there and take it and return fire..but that's what happened.

Well we should be getting some money on Tuesday so hopefully I can make some progress towards building a computer good enough to handle this game.

4gb of ram to start, going to upgrade it to 16gb later on, two 320gb hard drives [one internal and an external I found lying around]

Probably going to upgrade that to a couple TBs and some kind of Nvidia card to start. Probably going to toss a GTX 560/6xx in there later on.

So essentially I'll be getting a quick build that can play this game on high. Then upgrading it along the way.

And then my character bugged out and just died suddenly with no warning (I was full on food and drink and my blood level was at 6000) and there was literally no one in sight for kilometers on end + there were only 147 zombies in the server

Fuck this game and fuck Bohemia Interactive for making a buggy game

Now that I have an M16a2 with 5 mags and a GPS system, I can't play anymore, because I know I'll only get killed randomly or without a proper fighting chance; I can't stand to get that angry again

Just wanted to post this here:

I've created an unofficial group on Steam where people who play both NMRiH and DayZ can link up and play DayZ together. It's currently public, as I didn't see a reason to close it off and make it difficult to join, so here is the page if anyone would like to join! Invite any friends who also play DayZ and like to use teamwork. I think this is the best route of grouping up with people when playing DayZ, since you can (most likely) trust the members in the group as opposed to random survivors you stumble upon in the game.

Let me know if you guys have any suggestions or changes I could make. I'm also looking for people to make as officers who can help with upkeep of the group, so let me know here or on steam. It would be cool to get as many people as possible to join who like to use teamwork, I figured we could just use No More Room in Hell as a base. Dev's I hope you don't have an issue with this, you seemed to encourage it when it was talked about on the Day Z post. Just let me know if I need to change anything, I don't want to step on anyones toes, just hoping to get some people together and advertise NMRiH at the same time!
