Like the title... All the survival servers crash on wave 3, or when a flare is shot into the air... (Aka when a chopper is supposed to come i believe)

I've made it to round 14.

Not all do.

However; Flares do cause a crash, I'd say about 1 in 8 flares crash a server. So not a common problem; but certainly a problem. I get the no free edicts error after about the 5th flare or so. Supply drops come normally, so as long as you, the host, get the Flare gun first, you can make sure no one shoots it willy nilly. You still take a gamble each time you shoot it.

It is a beta, afterall.

Maybe your server doesnt... But every single server ive played on it does... and ive played on like 4-5 different survival servers multiple times... And every time it never fails to crash on wave 3... .Also whats the name of your server? I wanna see if it crashes on that one too. (I bet it does!) And i know its beta, thats why im reporting it.
Edit: Wait... Is your server a dedicated server? or do you run it on your computer? Cause im thinking its some sort of problem with the dedicated servers some how.

Edit 2: I played on all the survival servers that are currently up (I just made sure) and each one has crashed on wave 3, it never fails.

Hmm.

Mine is a Listen Server. Might have to do with it...

I could create it on Steam and you could join and see what happens...does it crash for -everyone- or just you?


FOr like 5 or so minutes, I'll put mine up. House of Bodies 1.3 Survival. Really late, and tired...so we probably will miss, but I'll give it a try.


Played for half an hour, server filled up, sorry if you weren't on it, we made it to round 8, when we had a no free edicts crash. Damn, we were doing really well to. Performance issues & this are the only things wrong with the fun factor right now...

Disappointing to make it to Wave 14 or so and bam, no free edicts mother-fucka.

I just confirmed it. I hosted my own server "AcidLies' Survival Server". And it didnt crash once, got to wave 6 twice... It seems the crashing only accures when a heli shows up on a dedicated survival server.

Well, I heard it has to do with Linux, and 95% of servers are hosted on Linux, I imagine...so yeah.

Be nice if we could get a 1.03 Hotfix for it.

The last two times I tried to play flood on a server it crashes immediatly at the start of wave 1.

Yeah, my game seems to crash more and more, it's odd.

I used to be able to make it to Wave 14, now I always crash around 7...no matter what.

Yes, I've also noticed this. Survival servers are getting more and more unstable for some reason
