The original needs a remake more than any other old game than I can think of. Not even a remake, just a visual update and some good Vista/7 compatibility. I'd be all over that.

Fucking chryssalid fucking faggots are totally OPed and especially early on when you can't combat them because your dudes suck and have a hard enough time killing greys and floaters FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. That said, game is sweet and totally tits.
I'm not easy to get rid of and I thought I made that pretty clear in a few previous posts[.] Like I said, I think I ended up pissing people off more than they pissed me off. At first I hated Noobbot most of all then I realized how intelligent the asshole really was. Other members just annoyed me (sidra) and that is the reason I've been so emphatic.

I never encountered Chryssalids that early, I always had researched plasma weaponry before I met 'em.
I man'd up and made my own sig. Then a certain norwegian told me to remove it. So I made another one.

I fought chryssalids with regular rifles.I never encountered Chryssalids that early, I always had researched plasma weaponry before I met 'em.
I lost one out of fourteen soldiers and three out of eight civilians.

Are you playing it on easy or did you get lucky? If you're within like five hexes, they rip off your balls and make you eat them. They can move like 10 hexes and still attack.

I formed a firing line of soldiers and used tanks to scout out targets. The soldier I lost was due to the snakemen. Normal difficulty.Are you playing it on easy or did you get lucky? Sadly, UFO: Afterlight is probably the closest we'll ever get.The original needs a remake more than any other old game than I can think of. Not even a remake, just a visual update and some good Vista/7 compatibility. I'd be all over that.
